Did you know that the iconic cube houses in Rotterdam were not the first cube houses in the Netherlands? The first cube houses were built in Helmond and surrounded a theatre that consisted of 37 cubes.
In December 2011 the theatre was destroyed in a raging fire that also damaged some of the adjoining cube houses.
