Did you know that the Muiderslot used to be one of the most important fortresses of Amsterdam? The castle was built around 1285 and is situated about 15km southeast of Amsterdam.
Today visitors can go back 700 years in time and visit the knight’s hall, towers, dungeon and the beautiful herb and vegetable gardens.
