Did you know that Amsterdam based artist Hugo Kaagman (born 1955) designed Delft Blue tailfins for British Airways? This was part of British Airways’ ethnic designs livery to represent various countries on their route network in the 1990’s. Not everybody liked the fact that BA was no longer flying the Union Jack and that’s why these colorful liveries slowly disappeared.
