Did you know that the Holland Heineken House is the home away from home for Dutch athletes and fans in Pyeongchang?
Staged at the LaKai Sandpine resort near Gangneung for the duration of the Winter Games, fans and media will be able to mingle with Dutch athletes at the Holland Heineken House (HHH).
Celebrate legendary orange moments
All TeamNL matches will be shown on large screens at the venue. You can watch sports, relax, have a drink and enjoy a wide range of Korean and Dutch dishes and snacks.
Entertainment inside the HHH will include performances by top DJs and artists from the Netherlands, including André Hazes jr, Van Velzen and Di-rect.
Every Dutch Olympic medal winner will come to the HHH to celebrate their achievements in the Medal Celebration Hall.
14th edition of Holland Heineken House
The Dutch Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) and main sponsor Heineken have been organizing the HHH since the Olympics in Barcelona in 1992. Eversince it has grown into the largest national house at both the Summer and Winter Olympics. Pyeonchang 2018 is the 14th consecutive Olympic Games where a Holland Heineken House has opened its doors to Dutch and international guests.
Previous editions of the Holland Heineken House: Barcelona (1992), Lillehammer (1994), Atlanta (1996), Nagano (1998), Sydney (2000), Salt Lake City (2002), Athens (2004), Turin (2006), Beiijng (2008), Vancouver (2010), London (2012), Sochi (2014) and Rio de Janeiro (2016).
Location of the Holland Heineken House
The HHH in Pyeonchang covers about 1,700m² and offers space to i.a. a fan zone, sports room and press center. It is located in the coastal city of Gangneung, just a few kilometers away from the Olympic ice rink. This location makes a lot of sense when you know that all 24 of TeamNL’s medals from Sochi came from ice skating.
