Did you know that the village of Pieterburen is famous for its Seal Rehabilitation Center? Since 1971 Lenie van ‘t Hart and her crew have been taking care of sick and injured seals and orphaned pups. After a rehabilitation period seals are released back into the wild. The center is open to visitors.
